Luxury interiors with soul.

At Meraki Design, we believe that home is more than just a place .

It’s a feeling.

Founded in 2013 by lifelong friends Eris Koutsoudakis and Maria Kachramanoglou, Our London and Athens-based studio brings a deeply personal approach to every project we take on.

Born in South Africa to Greek families, we grew up between cultures and that layered experience has shaped how we design. Whether we’re working on a contemporary new build or a heritage restoration, our focus is always the same: creating spaces that feel like they belong, grounded, warm, and timeless.

That sense of belonging, of rootedness, is what they now bring to every space they design.

We draw inspiration from our clients’ stories and cultural backgrounds

Two women in neutral-colored clothing are in a room with a beige upholstered chair and abstract artwork on the wall. One woman is sitting on the chair with her legs crossed and her hand supporting her chin, looking at the camera. The other woman is standing next to her, with her hand in her pocket, also looking at the camera. The room has soft natural lighting.

Crafting Soulful Interiors

Guided by the Greek concept of Meraki—pouring one’s heart and soul into every endeavor—We believe good design should be beautiful and functional, emotionally resonant and quietly luxurious. Our work is underpinned by a commitment to craft, comfort, and sustainability. With each project designed to stand the test of time, both aesthetically and in the way it makes you feel.

Crafting Spaces That Endure

Our bespoke solutions have enriched boutique hotels, luxury resorts, private residences, and exclusive retail spaces worldwide. We believe thoughtful design can be practical, durable, and ecologically responsible, all while remaining breathtakingly beautiful. Every member of our studio is immersed in the Meraki Design philosophy, combining artistry, expertise, and ethics to create spaces that truly stand the test of time.

“Working with Maria and Eris on the interior design for Lympstone Manor was an incredible journey, right from their initial creative pitch to the launch of what has always been my vision. Meraki proved to be innovative, efficient and detailed throughout the project and passionately embraced my initial brief bringing to life my dream; a country house hotel for the 21st century.”
