Project Overview

A full renovation project complete with rear extension and interior decoration by Meraki throughout.

Aesthetic Direction

Wanting to stay relevant to its high-end Notting Hill postcode with decoration that’s classy and city-spirited, the client was equally as keen to reference a laidback Mediterranean aesthetic.

Material & Colour Palette

While the palette is principally neutral on first glance, there are odes to blue and sea green in every space, nodding to the Mediterranean aspect of the brief. Creamy Taj Mahal Marble and travertine tiles layer in earthy warmth and Bauwerk lime washed walls keeps things muted and modern.

White built-in bookshelf with three shelves holding decorative items including books, vases, a framed picture, candles, and a ceramic bowl.

Noteworthy Features

  • The playful use of Bauwerk in the children’s bedrooms via royal blue and powder pink with an abstract paint effect feature wall in their son’s room

  • Brass screen door frames used on the ground floor to separate the home office and hallway from the open-plan living space
